Today’s post explains how Maryland sign makers are slowing the spread of COVID-19, supporting governor Hogan’s latest health initiatives, and fighting for Baltimore businesses’ continuity.
If you need COVID-19 signage, we can help—call 410-877-6011 for a free consultation.
In accordance with CDC guidelines, Governor Hogan and the Maryland Department of Health launched the Masks On Maryland initiative to reduce the risks of community spread of COVID-19 via respiratory droplets. The primary goals of this initiative are to spread awareness about proper mask wearing, and to increase compliance among Maryland residents.
To that end, the Maryland Department of Health posted free Masks On Maryland signage on their website in English and Spanish. These printable signs make great additions to your existing COVID safety sign system, perfect for posting on the front door as an extra reminder, but they’re not enough on their own!
To meet Masks On Maryland’s stated goals, Baltimore businesses need multiple reminders posted at strategic locations. Ideally, these reminders will differ in size, color, sign style, and form, thereby maximizing the odds of their being spotted. In other words, printing out multiple copies of the Maryland Department of Health’s free file might work in a pinch, but it’s certainly not optimal—especially when you factor in variable printer quality, along with the limitations of a single 8.5 x 11” piece of paper.
Don’t worry—ordering custom COVID-19 mask compliance signage is fast, easy, and affordable. Since the start of the pandemic, Baltimore Signs and Graphics has been spearheading the production of COVID-19 safety signage, with mask compliance signs chief among them.
We offer several popular mask compliance sign options you can use to help the Masks On Maryland initiative meet its goals, including:
Whatever you choose, your mask compliance sign is completely customizable, so you can effortlessly tie it into your existing sign system, and even get some added branding value by using company colors, logos, and graphics.
Beyond our contributions to the Masks On Maryland campaign, Baltimore Signs and Graphics is also spearheading the production of all required COVID-19 signage for Maryland buildings and businesses. As per the Maryland Department of Health, this includes:
Governor Hogan’s Maryland Strong: Roadmap to Recovery plan states in no uncertain terms that COVID-19 signage is a requirement for all businesses continuing to operate before the pandemic threat period has passed. If your business is operating without them, you’re breaking the law, and may be forced to pay penalties.
You can learn more about your COVID-19 sign requirements on the Maryland government website, or by speaking directly with local COVID-19 sign makers at 410-877-6011. Every consultation is free, and we offer same-day quotes on any custom sign types.
